Hand of the Week
This hand has nothing pretty in it at all. It interests me purely to look at dumb play, both on my part and the opposition.

So, I win $1240 pot with nothing but the board, why on earth did he call $250 river bet with nothing, I most certainly should not have checked the turn. If he bets a large(ish) bet there I am folding, more so on the river. Now granted he does not have anything either, but why call the $250 river bet with nothing. You cannot call when you have nothing into a bet on the river, if you are going to go that far you need to re-raise.
On another SnG similar situation KTs UTG+1 50/100 blinds big stack with $4K, next down was $2K with 6 left on the table, so wanted to put some pressure on the small stacks who had the blinds. I don't have the hand with me at the mo, but basically I raise $300, BB calls, he had approx $1400. Flop was like 84J, check, check, turn 2, check, check...river T, check...$1500 bet from me, no flush draw. In the chat window comes..."you got anything".
